Paul: When are you going to move into your new apartment?
폴: 새 아파트엔 언제 이사 들어갈 거야?
Tim: I'm not sure now. My life has just been turned upside down.
팀: 지금은 잘 몰라. 사는 게 뒤죽박죽이야.
Paul: What are you talking about?
폴: 무슨 말이야?
Tim: I found out yesterday that I have to go to China on Friday.
팀: 어제야 알았는데 금요일에 중국을 가야 한대.
Paul: I see what you mean.
폴: 무슨 말인지 알겠다.
Tim: I have to move out of my old apartment by Sunday.
팀: 일요일까지 살던 아파트에서 이사 나가야 되고.
Paul: You have a problem. Can't you get out of your trip to China?
폴: 그거 문제다. 중국 가는 거 안 할 수 없어?
Tim: I've tried but it's impossible.
팀: 안 가려고 해봤는데 불가능해.
Paul: Tell me how I can help you. I'll do whatever I can.
폴: 내가 어떻게 도울 수 있으면 말 해. 뭐든 해 볼 게.
Tim: You're a good friend. I'll tell you tomorrow.
팀: 넌 좋은 친구야. 도움 받을 게 있는지 내일 얘기할게.

▶turn (something) upside down: (무엇을) 거꾸로 뒤집다. 혼란스럽다.
